This is a challenge that all the staff at Charmant have been facing for over 50 years since the company was founded, and has grown into a leading company that is not only active in Japan but also around the world. Line Art was born in 2009 as the crystallization of the staff's thoughts and in order to meet the various needs of our many customers, aiming to create a new stage in glasses that is not found anywhere else in the world.
The moment they put them on, many people comment on how surprised they are at how light, stable, and how well they fit. It would be pointless if they were simply light and would slip out of place. The most important thing about glasses is that the lenses are kept in the correct position on the eyes, but there were many constraints in creating glasses that fit gently and keep the lenses in the correct position. Starting with the development of the titanium alloy material itself, we put together unique ideas down to the smallest details, such as the temple design that gently wraps around the head and the modern parts that hold the glasses securely behind the ears, and Line Art's "ultimate wearing comfort" was born.
Ten years have passed since then, and thanks to your support, the brand has grown significantly, and currently has 14 collections for both men and women, with Line Art being delivered to people not only in Japan but also in about 100 countries around the world. With the support of customers who say, "Once you try them on, you can't let them go," and who add to their collection with a second and third pair, we have been able to celebrate our 10th anniversary as the glasses of choice.

The key to Line Art's comfort is the optimal springiness and pressure that fits snugly against the head. In pursuit of the ideal metal with flexibility, the manufacturing process began with the creation of a new material. After eight years of joint development with the Tohoku University Institute for Materials Research, Charmant's unique material, "Excellence Titanium," was born. It is light, has excellent springiness, and expands surprisingly flexibly when putting on and taking off, and returns to its original shape. It is also a shape memory alloy, so it can be used for a long time with the same comfort as when you first put it on, making it the ideal material for glasses. Line Art uses this Excellence Titanium generously throughout the temples, allowing you to enjoy the highest level of comfort that cannot be found anywhere else.

Line Art's major feature is their temples, which are rich in variation and color, with gentle waves and rhythmic accents.
